Astrid came into our care as a devoted mumma to two beautiful puppies. She did her job quietly and lovingly, and now that her babies have been weaned, it’s finally her turn to be nurtured and supported.

Astrid can be nervous and a little reluctant with new people. She takes her time, observes from a distance, and needs space to feel safe. But now that she can focus on herself, we are already seeing her begin to blossom. Little by little, her personality is shining through, and it is incredibly sweet.

She has a gentle, sensitive demeanour and a soft way about her. There is something very special about earning the trust of a dog like Astrid. Once she feels secure, she bonds deeply.

Astrid is looking for a patient, calm home that will guide her with steady leadership and kindness. Someone willing to teach her that the world is safe and that she doesn’t have to be afraid.

With time, structure, and love, we know this sweet girl is going to flourish.
